Pros

- Well-rounded opportunities for career growth across iHeart's platforms - Premium exposure to entertainment - Some quality and caring colleagues at the local level

Cons

- Internal favoritism at the national level - Unrealistic and unhealthy work expectations set by CEO - Employee salary and benefits that do not adequately compensate the employees for their work efforts - Goals are given to employees vs employees working with management on their own goals - Teams outside of New York HQ left out of culture building opportunities

Pros

They do have good benefits

Cons

It starts with nothing but cold calling. You really have want to make money to have this job. I do not care care about money, but more about living my life with adventure and being happy.

Avoid At All Cost

Pros

• Pay is decent, but technically under market price especially if you are more of an Associate or Senior Level • Get hookups for shows every now and then, but not enough to offset the Cons • Decent Benefits, but not really much at or above market value

Cons

• Terrible work culture; Countless times there has been some HR violations that would not be tolerated elsewhere • No Job Security – Mass furloughs turned to layoffs due to the Pandemic (Company did just came out of a bankruptcy before the Pandemic) • Pay is sketch, there are rumors of doing unpaid work for entry level employees (I don’t mean OT turn Regular Pay, I mean OT with no pay) • More Miss than Hit on Workload; Know that you may be worked to the ground while others have a light workload and are well liked (Favoritism) • Next to the furloughs turned layoffs, turnover is high. Just know, there is a reason for that.. • Limited opportunities to advance your career; Management limits your career growth for their benefit • Summary: not the job for you if you’re looking to work in a fun, positive workplace with a secured job, good pay, and a career in media
