Pros

It is a fast-paced environment with great co-workers, and the job itself is a lot of fun.

Cons

There are limited opportunities for advancement and those are shrinking as time goes by. The salary structure is also stagnant.

Your Job Will Be Outsourced

Pros

The only pro is some jobs are work from home

Cons

This company has begun mass layoffs and giving American jobs to people in The Philippines and India while paying them 1/4 of the wage. Never have had a raise and asking for one puts you on their short list. You are not a human to Bob Pittman, you are not even a number. The company does not offer maternity leave despite being a multi billion dollar corporation.

Don't Do It

Pros

The people in my market are great. Not the managers, but the other sellers. We bond over how terrible it is.

Cons

Training is more so focused on "how to use Salesforce" and "how to conduct a pitch meeting" rather than how the products work. I got extremely lucky with a large deal, but everything has gone downhill now that we're launching the campaign. Things don't work the way they're supposed to, it takes forever for internal partners to answer questions, and the client is getting upset. My market is ending WFH flexibility, yet the managers are frequently out of the office on a weekly basis. Don't even get me started on the VPs. Commissions were cut by 30%. Every week, there's a new initiative to sell from corporate, but market managers still want your main focus to be broadcast. Don't expect to be given any accounts or leads. I dread driving to work every day and staring at my screen watching as everything goes wrong and under-performs.
