Tough sell

Pros

It was fun selling radio, creating contracts and writing copy. Easy to get live event tickets and promo items. I enjoyed those aspects.

Cons

Radio is not an easy sell these days. Sales is paid 100% commission. Benefits were not great. High turnover and not enough local personalities.

Pros

Very supportive atmosphere. Plenty of training and tools provided for success.

Cons

There are many salespeople on the floor and it is competitive to carve out your slice of the pie. If you work hard and stay at it, you can do it!

Pros

Able to work with a variety of different people on a lot of different things. Get to meet new people everyday and understand their needs pertaining to advertising.

Cons

Hard to move up in the company, unless you are in sales there is not much opportunity for advancement.
