Pros

If you have success, generally they leave you alone...unless your success infringes on someone elses within the company. Technologically savvy..

Cons

Always felt as if the ax would fall at any time, for no reason. Also, CC can be a "Boys Club", it's all about who you know, and how much you suck up. I have seen many unqualified programmers with no tangible success, suddenly elevated into Senior positions, due to the political game.

Official Company Policy: No Raises

Pros

Flexible, casual work environment that still manages to be fast-paced and exciting.

Cons

Employees have been told flat out that the company "does not do cost of living increases." Read that twice before you consider working there. Employees pay the full cost of most benefit/insurance premiums and the coverage is still terrible.

Pros

Clear Channel has many resources at their fingertips. They are the biggest radio group in the country and have a lot of power in each market.

Cons

Don't expect to make a lot of money at this company, and if you do, don't expect to be there long. No market is safe, past performance no longer matters. In fact, if you've earned your way to the top, and the raises that go along with success, you are more likely to get whacked.
