An OK Place to Work

Pros

There are some great people in Professional Services, with strong communication skills and well-documented processes. It’s a decent place to start your career, especially if you’re looking to gain experience working in Agile teams.

Cons

Compensation is significantly below industry standards. Opportunities for career advancement are limited, and expectations frequently shift without clear communication. When client demands become unreasonable, employees often receive little support from leadership. Recent leadership changes appear to prioritize the interests of the parent company over those of employees or long-term team success.

Pros

Honestly, not many. Some colleagues were supportive and tried to make the best of a bad situation. You’ll quickly learn what kind of environment to avoid in the future.

Cons

I only lasted a few months at this company before i decided to move on, and that was more than enough. The management team is completely disorganised, often aggressive, and seems to operate purely as mouthpieces for the US parent company. Nothing gets approved without sign-off from overseas, which slows everything down and creates constant frustration. There’s no autonomy, and decision-making is painfully bureaucratic. The culture is toxic and demoralising. Leadership rules with an iron fist, and there’s little to no support for employees. It's a depressing environment that drains motivation quickly. Benefits are extremely poor compared to industry standards, and there's little effort made to invest in employee wellbeing or development.

Thank you for the feedback and the review. Although it seems your experience should have been better, as the new head of HR, I am excited about what we are doing as an organization when it comes to both innovation for our clients as well as innovation for our associates. -Holly McGiboney, CHRO
