Pros

-Some talented and supportive colleagues -Some remote opportunities

Cons

-Frequent rounds of layoffs create instability and anxiety, often cutting effective employees while retaining ineffective leadership -Poor communication from executives — decisions feel top-down with little transparency -Lack of long-term vision; leadership seems reactive rather than strategic -Career growth opportunities are limited, and morale suffers as strong talent leaves -Technology stack feels outdated in places, with insufficient investment in modernization

Pros

Met a some nice, smart, and hardworking people at lower levels.

Cons

Everything. Weirdest place I've worked. Culture is bizarre. All leaders are trying work for the holding company (Roper) or move to bigger, more interesting tech companies. Mostly hire through referrals, so its very cliquey. Most younger people were high school or college friends.

A tale of two companies.

Pros

Camaraderie among co-workers. Despite all its problems, the company manages to hire some great people. Unfortunately many end up completely demoralized.

Cons

Out of touch leadership. The exec team and managers pretend they want input, but the reality is if you're not part of the "in-crowd" or one of their cliques, your opinion just doesn't matter. Some people set up for success and untouchable, others set up for failure and always at a disadvantage. Constant blame-games and politics among departments, while completely ignoring obvious problems (and people, especially in key positions). Decisions get made in a vacuum, with no one validating the assumptions built into the plans. Why hire smart and talented people and then completely ignore them and shut them down? Top-down dictatorial culture pretending at empowerment and inclusion. Company has a split personality culture. How you like it depends on your job and the clique you're in. Business growth has stalled, and could go off a cliff.
