The people at ifm are at the heart of why this is such a great place to work. My coworkers are positive thinkers, willing to help, and provide constructive criticism when needed. Our upper management is extremely approachable- all the way from our German ownership, to our CEO, VPs, Directors, and Regional/Branch managers. The product line is constantly being developed and is high quality which allows us to remain relative & competitive in the industry. It is a company that truly cares about its employees and customers. I've been with the company through a few tough economic times and have always been confident that I have secure employment due to the processes and decisions they have made.

Flat organization with little to no room for moving up the chain.

Teammates that work well together were very helpful. Had a great immediate team and enjoyed helping on so many extra projects.

Cons

Flat organization so regardless of the extra projects taken on, you’re only expected to do the minimum. If someone had an opinion of you for whatever reason, good luck. It gets petty and becomes a witch hunt.
