Pros

It's amazing how things just fall into your life - that happened with me and lululemon. Working for this athletic clothing company has not only helped me cultivate my management skills but it has opened all kinds of doors in my personal life. Every day I am given the opportunity to be creative and jump into my own personal development. Not to mention, I work with some of the greatest people I have ever met!

Cons

There are no cons when you get to sweat every day!

Pros

Unbelievable on-boarding and training program. Hiring experience was great! Competitive salary and extra perks are good (free weekly workouts, product discount). They invest in your personal and professional development in a real way. There is lots of room to move laterally or up. High-growth and fun environment. Offices have been up-graded since I left and are now much nicer.

Cons

Benefits philosophy is that "athletes don't get sick" and is reflected in the bare minimum coverage for massage, Physio, acupuncture, etc. but who needs those things more than athletes?? Open plan offices have been proven to negatively impact productivity and this whole building is open plan. Headphones are a must!

-Management isn't really interested in "listening" - Work Life balance only matters if it's a part of the surrounding community -Management is condescending -Everyone wants to be in authority because of the way everything is structured -Constant back chatter among the employees and management -Putdowns -Unreasonable write ups -Lack of Communication In this company everyone is made responsible for themselves, in which most of the time it's used against you.
