Work Life Balance is a myth, especially on the design floor. Don't be surprised if you are asked to work through the weekend or on holidays. Half the work is getting through broken processes and the rest if just to catch up. Much of the upper management does not come from experience but rather from just being at lululemon for so many years - old & out of touch. Expectations vary greatly depending on who's managing. Too many random initiatives going on at once.

Upper management isn't in the same page. From week to week it varied with regional and corporate leaders. Conflicting leadership makes it difficult to run a store with confidence. A bit of entitled attitudes from those in Vancouver and those now working on the East Coast from the corporate office. You must oblige to all development plans and say yes or you will be an outcast and never promoted.
