Pros

There is a great view of the 360 bridge from the office. Office job on your resume if you're trying to get out of retail.

Cons

The traffic to and from the nice view sucks. There are better opportunities to get an office job and this is nothing more than a call center. The technology they claim to have is non-existent. Again this is a call center and they max out free use software like Evernote and GSuite. No clear description of the job. No teamwork. Poor management at all levels, but especially the guy has the most facetime around the office. Most employees can't wait to leave so it's a miserable work environment. HH and other team outings are non-existent as the company doesn't make enough money and the owners are religious types. If you've been in a role with a company that does HHs or stocks the fridge with beer, this place isn't for you.

Cons

No clear description of the job, no teamwork, poor management. If an employee was letgo the manager would tell everyone in the office and wouldn't mence words.

Pros

I'd like by starting that this is NOT going to be a job where you can sit around reading Wikipedia articles. As an entry level position, you are essentially a call center representative and you WILL be taking calls constantly. The training is a bit limited and your first month will probably be a lot of learning on the job and learning how to use the resources available to help clients as best as you can. This is key and if you aren't able to handle phone calls or back to back calls this may not be for you. Now on to the Pros: 1. Your coworkers are the funnest people and best resource. Usually early-mid twenties as a lot of new hires tend to be new college grads. 2. Kudos - recognition points for hard work that can be traded for prizes! 3. Free food is provided regularly 4. Schedule can be a bit flexible in terms of what shift you want 5. Always work to do (this can be a con as well - more on that later). This means you can get from the job what you want. Want more experience? Want to diversify your work responsibilities? Want to work with a specific client? You just have to ask. 6. The ability to add as much to your resume as you'd like. Fortune 500 companies, customer service skills, management of client issues etc.

Cons

1. Training is lacking and you WILL find yourself having to figure out problems on the spot while a customer is on the line. You're learning on the job but it may be too overwhelming for some. You WILL get customers who yell at you. 2. Turnover - This has been reduced SOME. However, you'll be hard pressed to find any of the newer employees who see themselves with the company long term. 3. With Turnover comes - more work. This is often marketed as an opportunity to newer employees to take on more responsibilities. Great learning opportunity, no title change, no pay increase. Also, your training will often be minimal. 4. Career Opportunities for the more senior positions (those where employees have been there the longest) is limited to waiting for them to leave. 5. Pay - You are more likely than not - underpaid. New hire are likely to be paid more if they just negotiated better. More responsibility doesn't equate more pay. "merit" increases aren't a thing either as yearly performance reviews are promised and never performed. You either get a brand new position (different department) and expect some pay change OR you let them know you're about to quit and they'll negotiate. Lastly - since this is Austin - you should know that the manager is not the type to adhere to political correctness. Nothing aggressively offensive but definitely some questionable jokes/teasing/off-hand comments.
