      Overall Bad Experience

      Pros

      Some of the best people to learn from and work with. The PTO is nice.

      I overall had a negative experience. When I first started I absolutely loved what I did and who I was working with and the projects I was working on. However, it changed very suddenly, and I wasn't on the same team for more than a year after that. I wasn't able to become a SME in anything in particular. I felt as though I was completely stifled in my professional development within the company. I wasn't happy after about the first year and a half, but I had worked so hard to get into nCino, I stayed for a while. Overall, the company leaders claim they are transparent, but they aren't at all. Employees are consistently blindsided by decisions that are made. There are constant changes in tools being used I had no idea where I should focus my time. We would be asked to learn one thing, then it would be scrapped.

You are correct that during this period there was a significant amount of change due to going public and of course with challenges of COVID. We have learned a lot of lessons around what we have done well and where we have opportunities to grow as a company during these last few years and are putting those lessons to work for us so that we continually grow as a company. One of those is around professional development and ensuring our employees have all of the tools, opportunities and experiences needed to continue to develop and grow their careers.       Benefits, PTO, vision for the product.

      Cons

      Archaic attitude toward remote work, "good ole boys club" mentality in higher level management prevents employee growth and harms morale. Expectations vs. reality related to work and time management. Culture - big here, but if you preach something and shout it from the mountaintops but don't practice what you preach, it may just as well be propaganda.
