We value any opportunity to hear from our employees about their experiences and take the information received seriously as we continue to grow and evolve as an organization. We're glad to hear that you were able to learn a lot in your role, but the mention about the "unpaid extra work is concerning". I'd love to hear more if you're willing to share - please send to Feedback@nVent.com. Thank you for taking the time to share!

Growing pains but make it fun!

Pros

The culture and the people are great. nVent really encourages innovation and DEI in a way most companies only pretend to. Benefits and policies are better than industry average. Myself and the people around me genuinely enjoy working here and attitudes are positive. nVent builds real community without the fake "we're a family" sentiment. Lots of opportunities for career growth and learning.

Cons

nVent has some serious growing pains with lots of acquisitions and organic growth. Mostly outdated and simplistic systems and processes that struggle to "keep up" with the immense amount of growth. Offices are bursting at the seems. Being a global company has perks, but it really destroys work-life balance when I need to be available at all hours of the day for international calls.

Thank you for your review and for sharing about your experience as an nVent employee! We are pleased to hear that that you value our inclusive culture, global footprint, and see the possibilities to grow - all of those things are so important. We do pride ourselves on being a fast-growth company and embrace the challenges that come along with that, but do recognize it can impact the employee experience and business processes. We hope that things stabilize a bit so you can better manage the demands of work and life; it can be tough. Please know that we will continue making improvements and hope to ease some of those growing pains currently being experienced. Best wishes in your continued success with us!
