      Pros

      working hours are flexibel, we get a company car without fuel car which is good for the envirenement, etc.

      Cons

      Internal spec are very hard to understand, huge paper work needed for any simple action, priority is given to quarterly revenue rather than to quality, etc... A bit demotivationg sometimes..

      Pros

      The people on my team are great. Among team members there is no back-stabbing or ladder climbing. These people are thinning due to attrition and multiple years of the effects of the "Cons" section, but there are still good groups of people in isolated places.

      Cons

      From the corporate level down they have a strategy of "just under industry average". That extends to rate of hiring, amount of people staffed on projects, quality of projects, compensation, benefits, technology, IP, etc. This theory was actually stated in those words at an HR meet-and-greet.

      Pros

      The people in the trenches are great. The Design teams have been able to design some very difficult chips.

      Cons

      The pay is nothing to write home about. The benefits used to be great and they are slowly whittling those down to where I could get better benefits working at Costco.
