Where is the trust?

Pros

Work from home, unlimited PTO, good medical

Cons

Layoffs in 2022, good year in 2023, tough year in 2024 followed by layoffs. See the pattern? Constantly acquiring companies to show growth but cannot figure out how to make these products communicate and work together. CEO is there for one reason...to sell the company. If you keep your head down and do your job, you are still at risk. A lot of favoritism in leadership.

Growth isn't the issue

Pros

Good coworkers Opportunity to solve interesting problems in healthcare Great customers Decent benefits & they are always working on adding more (pet insurance, mental health apps) Flexible time off

Cons

Big gap between how leadership presents things and day to day employee experience Lack of active listening Heavily invested in hiring in sales without balancing out hires in other departments They will blame attrition on growth and "going enterprise," saying people can't handle it ... but plenty of people leaving have enterprise experience

Thank you for sharing your experience with us as a former symplr teammate. We’re very pleased to hear that you enjoyed our employee benefits, incredible customers and mission to the healthcare industry, and most of all, our amazing team. We’re deeply disappointed, however, that you didn’t feel a strong connection between our leadership strategy and the overall employee experience, in particular as it concerns enterprise focus. While you’re no longer with the team, we encourage you to email us at InternalCommunications@symplr.com to share where you felt a disconnect and how we could improve.
