Pros

Flexible hours and a lot of room for creativity. You may be surprised how much you will learn and develop yourself by teaching others. Summer camps can be a great way to make some money as well.

Cons

Low pay for someone who just graduated but you can't ask for a lot these days. Requires slight enthusiasm and willingness to learn new things and take new challenges (which can be a pro).

Pros

Good colleagues, generally good students, and can learn a decent amount on the job depending on the project

Cons

No career growth. Not enough hours even if completely booked to sustain living in high cost area.

Pros

- Freedom to teach what/how you want - No need to talk to parents or handle scheduling - Still paid for the hour if student cancels on short notice

Cons

- Little/none curriculum support, you have to come up with projects and lessons on your own - Often have to teach two kids of different skill levels at once - Low pay compared to other teaching or private tutoring roles
