My name is Lauren Thorne and I am the frontend QA Manager at AAPC. I've been with the company for just over a year. Prior to AAPC I was a call center manager. I was ready to move on from retail customer service, so I went back to school and received my degree in Web Design and Development. My first paid position after leaving customer service was my position here at AAPC, where I started as a QA Engineer. I was so excited to start my new career. I was given such a warm welcome and I quickly realized that I was working with a group of wonderful and fun people. AAPC is a place where your opinions and ideas are heard, great work is rewarded and recognized often, the importance of work/life balance is recognized, and we have fun while we work! AAPC is the place to be.

Meet Jenika Lyman from the AAPC Education Operations Team: My previous employer was bought out. I came in and met with Tom and the AAPC family opened their doors to not only me but several of my displaced coworkers/friends as well. After a few years with customer service, I found my niche with Education Operations. We are a close team and frequently gather outside of work. In the few years on this team, I have watched it grow and opportunities not only for myself and for my coworkers, but the students as well grow in leaps and bounds. I am excited to be on the ground floor and watch AAPC and our members flourish. I am so lucky to be part of the best team led by the most amazing boss, comradery, and the opportunities for growth. #weareaapc
