ASML Foundation has a partnership with Plan International and supports the project: STEM, Girls Can Do It! in rural China. The aim is to promote better education in these ‘STEM’ subjects, especially for girls, in rural schools in China, and to build confidence among girls and boys to pursue a future career of their own choice. Recently, a number of (female) ASML engineers hosted a visit by 10 girls to ASML's office in Xian, to further enthuse these girls for technology.
Passing on knowledge is just one of the many specialties of our employees. We couldn't wish for better ambassadors of technology.
We are proud to announce that our CTO, Martin van den Brink, has received a lifetime achievement award from imec. The Belgian research institute recognizes his vision and contribution to the development field of lithography equipment for the chip industry.
What does it take to ensure technological progress? A healthy dose of creativity! That's why we help inspire young creative minds to learn about the significance of technology in our society.
