It's never too late to achieve your career dreams. Twenty years after graduating high school, Maurina became an LPN — and she didn't stop there. She earned a bachelor's in nursing and a master's in education. She currently works in the Akron Children's After Hours program educating parents. Maurina credits the support of her Akron Children's co-workers and her nurse managers who helped her pursue the career she wanted. Her advice to those who want to follow in her path?
