#Patientnavigation brings tremendous value to patients and their #oncology care team. We are heartened by the CMS’ 2024 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule, which includes coding changes to allow for reimbursement for patient navigation services, caregiver training services, community health integration services, and expanded access to telehealth services. Through these changes, CMS validates patient navigation’s important role in the care continuum while empowering these professionals and their patients and caregivers with access to vital supports. US Medical Affairs National Meeting - for the second year in a row, US Medical Affairs requested Amplity's support to bring their Annual All-Hands Meeting to fruition! The overarching theme of the 2023 conference was "Ambitious for Patients". It was important to the Amplity team to provide as much support as possible to the various Leadership Team members that were identified to run each session. Throughout the conference, Amplity received positive comments and praise from attendees, leaders, presenters, and even the SVP head of USMA who deliberately joined one of the Amplity Team briefings to personally thank everyone saying, "We need you and we couldn't have done this without you!" This feedback was echoed in our formal debrief discussion where we have already been asked to "Save the Date" for 2024 - Miami here we come!
What is Movember? Movember is an annual global campaign that is celebrated throughout the month of November to encourage men to grow mustaches and raise awareness about men?s health. It is also known as Men?s Health Awareness Month. It aims to challenge the stigma around men?s health issues, spark conversations, and promote early detection and intervention. Movember provides a platform for men to discuss their health openly, seek support, and take proactive steps towards a healthier and happier life. Movember originated in Australia in 2003 when a group of friends decided to grow mustaches to raise awareness about prostate cancer and depression in men. It has since evolved into a global movement with millions of participants and supporters. Movember has funded numerous men?s health projects and initiatives and has become a symbol of solidarity and awareness. Today Movember is one of the most respected men's health awareness organizations and has branches and participants all over the world. Everyone from sports teams to educational professionals can be found sporting a mustache during Movember. In fact, on one occasion, a Boeing 737-800 that belonged to the Australian National Rugby Union Team wore one! We encourage our colleagues to get involved in this fun and important initiative so check out this link to support the men in your lives!
