The heart of Artera’s operating companies is our people. Throughout the year, our team members give back to local communities across the U.S. This year was no different. With another year of battling a global pandemic, helping others in a meaningful way to show how much we care. Here are just a few examples of how our operating companies showed up in the communities our team members call home. Minnesota Limited team members worked together to donate items such as toys, household products, gift cards, and funds for various organizations in support of families in need through programs like Toys for Tots. Thanks to their support, hundreds of families will be able to celebrate this holiday season. In partnership with their customer Southern Company, Southeast Connections (SEC) supported the local Children’s Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. The local team donated money to support the toy drive and give back to the community. Hurricane Laura came ashore as a Category 4 storm Thursday, August 27, leaving substantial storm damage and hundreds of thousands without power in Texas and Louisiana. When local utility customers called Volt Power, more than 650 line workers responded to help restore the impacted communities. Our Volt team is leading the way working day in and day out averaging 100,000 restorations per day collectively with all service providers on the job. “Responding to storms and emergency situations is what we do, but it always amazes me how our team members come together. They drop what they are doing and leave their families and loved ones to help others in need,” states Derek Staedtler, Vice President of Operations for the Southwest region. “We are making a difference to those who have lost everything – it is the least we can do.”

ATLANTA - August 4, 2020 - Artera Services ("Artera") was announced today by PowerTeam Services LLC as the new company name. After the acquisition of Miller Pipeline and Minnesota Limited (collectively "MVerge") in April of this year, the company looked to establish a new name that better reflects the diversity of their offerings and provides a platform for future growth, both organically and through future acquisitions. "Artera is a name built for growth. It is a name that provides us with room to expand beyond our current offerings and continue to grow well into the future," stated Brian Palmer, chief executive officer of Artera.
