Thanks to a new state bill, we can now hire veteran medics and corpsmen discharged in the last six months for care technician positions. These veterans bring a high skill level from their experience and knowledge of care, and they are a valuable source for reducing the nursing shortage.
We have a growing Graduate Medical Education program, and this year we also have the largest group of new medical residents and fellows in our history.
