Colleen started as a Recruiting Coordinator with The BOSS Group (now Cella) in 2005 and is now an inspiring, strategic and compassionate Executive leader. Insights on her growth are below: How do you continue to grow and develop as a leader? Colleen: "For many years I focused almost 100% on the needs of others. Over time I began to make a gradual transition, learning and understanding that to be the best leader I could be, I had first to be the best version of myself. Being a 100% virtual workforce for sure has its perks but, we do get the urge to see each other from time to time. Due to the rise of covid cases in February, we postponed our in-person company retreat. To help alleviate the blues, Cella organized an entire day of virtual fun for its employees! That's right- 5 hours of virtual activities where we learned, laughed, and bonded. We were led with guided meditation and uplifted by a motivational speaker that reminded us to love and be kind to one another. We took walks through Paris, helped Sherlock Holmes uncover a mystery, discovered more about our horoscopes and about ourselves, and were duped by a magician a few times. We strengthened bonds, started new friendships, and had so much fun. These were activities and moments everyone could enjoy and share together.
