We strive to be empowered by remarkable women all over the world. On this upcoming International Women's Day, and throughout March, we will honor a handful of our talented women and spotlight their journey. This is Claire Labuschagne’s story: "Patrick, my high school sweetheart, and I struggled to find jobs in South Africa. We dreamed of success overseas. We sold all we had and moved to the UK in 2021 with only £500. Fast forward to 2023, we've been married for 19 years, have 2 healthy, beautiful children. My mother has always been my biggest role model. She beat the odds as a single parent and raised three strong, independent, and courageous women. She continues to inspire me daily. After many bumps along the road, I earned my first job in sales. I built resilience, strategic thinking, and confidence throughout my career - all essential qualities needed in my field. These qualities helped me join the EMEA sales team, where I grow and nurture our relationship with the UK Defence Sector. I believe women should build each other up so we can thrive".

She’s an Android Researcher in our site in Tel Aviv and a Computer Engineering graduate with 8 years of experience in Security Research. But none of this would have happened if her father hadn’t challenged her to build her own computer specs when she was in third grade. Meet Keshet Meir, part of Cellebrite Labs and an excellent reason to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science that took place this month: “Hi! I'm Keshet, a Vulnerability Researcher at Cellebrite Labs. That means I'm part of an expert team that looks for weak links and security gaps in Android devices. We develop those gaps into solutions that integrate with our company's products. Those products help law enforcement agencies extract forensic evidence by physically connecting to Android devices brought in for investigation, which ultimately puts criminals behind bars. For me, every new success story is a source of pride.

Let's start with the most important thing : throughout 2022, our technology took part in 9 operations in Brazil, during which 152 human trafficking survivors were rescued, and 20 perpetrators of human trafficking were arrested. We have already told you about our partnership with @The Exodus Road, an international non-profit organization working to prevent human trafficking. This week we mentioned World Day of Social Justice, and we can finally share the impact we created together in Brazil last year. In a cross-continental collaboration and working shoulder to shoulder with leading law enforcement organizations, we contributed our part in making the world a little safe. Alongside the Federal Police of Brazil, the Border Patrol, and the country's Ministry of Public Labor, 152 people of various ages and nationalities were rescued from human traffickers. Some were trafficked, enslaved, and even sexually assaulted - but not anymore. Here’s to a safer world, Cellebrite.

This Week, our IT & MIS departments blazed to glory, picking up no fewer than SEVEN awards in the Computing Excellence competition organized by People & Computers magazine. This impressive achievement owes a lot to great collaborations across our organization. Among the winning projects were: Innovation in Cloud Transformation - in collaboration with the Product House (R&D); the MRP project for Planning and Scheduling materials in the Cellebrite factory - in collaboration with the operations department; other projects in the field of Infrastructure, Command & Control, Information Security, and Cyber. Kudos to all the winners!

Meet James Edwards from the United Kingdom, now based in Singapore: "Hello everyone, I'm James. After 8 years in the British Army and a few more as a Senior OSINT Analyst, last July I joined Cellebrite's Training group as APAC's Strategic Advisor. As a Strategic Advisor, I support Cellebrite and its clients in scoping out and delivering end-to-end integrated forensics management solutions, including services, expertise, and actionable insights. On my last trip to Tokyo, I met some of our customers, including tax agencies, law enforcement agencies, and national security organizations. I was excited to meet our partners once again and give my share in the fight against crime. I had the opportunity to work very closely with our team and partners there to develop a fantastic presence, and I can’t wait to see where my journey with Cellebrite will take me next".

Tu BiShvat is a Jewish holiday occurring on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Shevat. It’s the day that marks the beginning of a “new year” for trees. Traditionally, it is celebrated by eating dried fruits from the land of Israel as a gesture of an old Jewish custom. Instead of celebrating it classically, with dried fruit platters around the office, we decided to roll up our sleeves. Today, dozens of our people from all over Israel arrived in Rishon LeZion, to assist Leket Israel in harvesting 1600 kg of kohlrabi. This will enable families in need to enjoy nutritional meals. After 12 years working in the Digital Intelligence field, where I first came across Cellebrite, I decided to dust off my resume and try my luck. So, just in case you were wondering, this is how a forensic investigator at the Tax Authority comes to be working in the cutting-edge high-tech industry As I write this, AI-based technology is being used to help medical teams with patient diagnosis, to identify situation risks for autonomous vehicles, and is a key part of Cellebrite products, saving valuable investigative time for world-renowned law enforcement organizations. We’re at the beginning of an incredible era that brings exciting possibilities alongside new challenges (as if we don’t have enough already!) to the world of law enforcement and justice.

Our team is responsible for the R&D behind our information extraction capabilities. We seek out bugs in the world’s most complex operating systems. Then, we produce software that exploits them, connecting to devices to extract the forensic evidence that puts criminals behind bars. After my military service in an intelligence unit and almost 5 years as a Decoding Researcher in the Forensic Research Group, I decided to take my love for research a step further. I'm delighted to announce that this year marks my sixth year at Cellebrite, and this time as part of the iOS Security Research team! May we all have a year of success and achievements".
