Team members Dustin Duran and Brett Pickar, recently attended the 6th annual Day on the Hill event hosted by the Iowa Poultry Association. This even focuses on corresponding with Iowa state legislatures and government officials. The IPA uses this time each year to share their legislative priorities with those who vote and make decisions. Daybreak's Vice President of Operations-West Jerry Welch sits on the Legislative Committee within the IPA and was influential in representing Daybreak Foods' interest in outlining Iowa’s Poultry industries top priorities.
