Our unit has many wonderful team members who have been here for more than a decade.” Meet Haiyan, a Clinical Nurse III at Duke Regional Hospital who is set to reach the decade milestone later this year. This is a testament to the supportive environment and strong teamwork. “Our shared and continued passions for our patients ties us all together.” Originally from China, Haiyan was excited to continue her career in health care here in the U.S., attending Duke University School of Nursing to get the skills needed to practice here. Now – nearly a decade later – Haiyan has created a celebrated career with us, gaining new certifications and advancing up the nursing career ladder.
