We were recently a part of New York Comic Con where we were stationed at the Schick Hydro 5 Lounge. Over the course of the event, more than 2,700 #NYCC attendees participated in our "Schick Shave-Off" video game competition. Attendees also had the opportunity to receive a professional barber shave, take photos with the Schick Hydrobot, and score some Schick Hydro swag. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

A group of colleagues in our Solingen, Germany location took the initiative to transform a large office space into a library and collaboration room. The library features a variety of books, study pods and comfortable chairs and couches for colleagues to use as they relax and read while on a break. The collaboration room, referred to as the “Col-Lab,” allows for teams to escape the traditional office setting to work together with colleagues in a comfortable space. Since changing the physical environment, there has been a positive impact on the way colleagues work and the spaces have provided an increased sense of community, promoting interaction between floors, teams and functions who otherwise may not have seen each other during the day. At Edgewell, we understand that colleagues are more happy and productive when they are given opportunities for mental and physical breaks in the work day. We applaud our colleagues in Germany for undertaking this project!

Hurricane Harvey has left a major disaster in its wake in Texas and Louisiana. While the hurricane may be over, the devastating floods and rescue efforts are still ongoing. We have donated $25,000 to the American Red Cross to assist in relief efforts and are matching any colleague donations dollar-for-dollar. Additionally, as a personal care company, we are in a unique position to provide products that can improve the quality of life for those who have been displaced from their homes. We have sent numerous shipments of product donations spanning all our categories. Our thoughts are with all of those affected by this disaster and we will continue to do all we can to help.

On Monday, August 21, a total solar eclipse crossed the United States coast to coast for the first time in 99 years. Two Edgewell sites, St. Louis and Knoxville, were in its direct path of totality. Celebrations were held on site so that our colleagues wouldn't miss this once-in-a-lifetime event!
