#WeareFives | 🎥 Meet Célia, Sales Engineer and Project Coordinator, episode #4 This week, we make a short stop in Switzerland, to introduce Celia, who is doing her work-study at Fives Cryomec AG. Celia joined Fives for the first time for a 7 month internship as an 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿. Her experience went so well that she decided with her tutor Vincent to finish her studies with a work-study program as a 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿. Martin joined Fives Nordon in France in 2019. In his apprenticeship path, he had the opportunity to spend 3 months as an intern at Fives ITAS S.p.A in Italy, a subsidiary of the group that specialized in combustion. He states: "What I appreciate at Fives is the mutual support I was able to have in my different missions whether at Fives ITAS or at Fives Nordon, ...". Fives Landis and AddUp work together to design & 3D print a custom coolant nozzle Fives Landis Corp. and AddUp, the joint-venture between Fives and Michelin, which specializes in metal additive manufacturing, partnered together to design and manufacture a 3-D printed coolant nozzle. It was installed on a rebuilt Landis LT2 grinding machine in order to optimize its performance.

𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 Mateo Martinez, 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙁𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙙 👋 Mateo is an IT student Epitech - European Institute of Technology Epitech at Ville de Marseille. He joined the Analysers and Instruments team Fives Pillard with the challenge to improve an important safety instrument installed in road tunnels. He has been implementing an Android App that will enable operators to control the device easily and wirelessly from their mobile or smartphone. This will be possible by using Bluetooth low energy (BLE) technology, which is a better alternative to Classic Bluetooth as it provides reduced costs and power consumption while ensuring an equivalent communication reach. Thanks to his knowledge in new technologies and ability to program, Matéo helped to modernize our product to bring more value to our customers. When asked about his experience with us he declared: “It is a good learning experience and I know I am now more autonomous and quicker to resolve problems when they arise. It may sometimes take longer to figure out or require more
