At FreshDirect, the safety of our employees is paramount. In compliance with New York City law, FreshDirect is requiring that all current and new employees working in any of our New York City locations be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they are approved for a medical or religious accommodation. As a part of this process, current or new employees will be required to provide supporting documentation about the reason they cannot be vaccinated. FreshDirect continues to offer on-site vaccination and booster shots to all employees at no cost.
Last week we had the honor of joining New York Common Pantry at the launch of their brand new Mobile Pantry. Thanks in part to FreshDirect customers' generous donations, the #MobilePantry will bring fresh food, nutrition education, and social services directly to food-insecure New Yorkers in their own neighborhoods.
