Congratulations to our VP of Winegrowing Research, Dr. Nick Dokoozlian, on receiving the Rich Smith Award of Excellence! Nick has driven research and innovation locally, nationally, and internationally as Research Chair of the National Grape Research Alliance (NGRA) and Board Chair of the American Vineyard Foundation (AVF). His recent advocacy efforts with the NGRA led to permanent federal funding for grape genetics and sustainable agricultural water systems research, which is a testament to his dedication to advancing the industry. 🍷
