As we swing into summer, we would like to revisit and celebrate the events Team GNC participated in this past May. We’re proud to highlight GNC team members who embody what it means to Live Well. On May 3, GNC showed up in a big way at the 2026 Pittsburgh Marathon in their second year as the Official Live Well Expo Sponsor! From a high-traffic booth to hands-on sampling and real-world nutrition education, we created a space where runners could learn, try, and fuel up for race day. In addition to the Expo and booths, 28 GNC team members participated in the Marathon and Half Marathon this year. Team GNC didn’t just sponsor the 2026 Pittsburgh Marathon event, we LIVED it, and we can't wait to bring the energy again next year! On May 17, the GNC Live Well Foundation was the Presenting Sponsor of the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk. Team GNC was proudly the #1 Fundraising Team and #1 Fundraising Company for the 2nd year in a row! As Presenting Sponsors, the GNC Live Well Foundation had the largest tent and provided product and educational material, specifically selected for the walk. The team had over 50 volunteers and walkers, made up of GNC employees, families, and friends. These events are just a few of the ways our Team Members are living well and giving back to the community. Join us in celebrating them!
We’re excited to share that GNC recently welcomed two new leaders to our executive team. Anshuman Taneja has joined as Chief Technology Officer, bringing more than two decades of experience leading large-scale technology, digital, and organizational transformations across global consumer brands. We’re thrilled to have his depth of expertise and leadership as part of the GNC team. We’re also pleased to welcome Joe Milano as Chief Growth Officer. Joe brings extensive experience driving profitable growth, scaling omnichannel businesses, and building world-class marketing and customer experience organizations. We’re excited for our teams to collaborate with him and benefit from his leadership.
As we start strong in 2026, we’re proud to reflect on 2025 as a year filled with meaningful moments, strong connections, and a shared commitment to giving back. Over the year, our team came together to support our community through three quarterly causes. Our efforts supported the Greater Pittsburgh Community Foodbank, Paws Across Pittsburgh, Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, Heart of Glass Animal Rescue Pittsburgh, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western PA. These initiatives reflect what matters most to us: showing up for our community and supporting the causes our team cares deeply about. We also made time to celebrate each other throughout the year—from a Valentine’s appreciation board to donut deliveries and weekly Wednesday popcorn, there was no shortage of small moments that brought us together as a team. August marked a major milestone as we celebrated GNC’s 90th Anniversary with an outdoor HQ celebration featuring a DJ, food trucks, and family fun—followed by a night out at PNC Park for a Pirates game where our CEO, Michael Costello, threw out the first pitch! During Steelers season, HQ showed its spirit with a tailgate-themed potluck and Steelers apparel days on Thursdays. We closed out the year with a holiday feast that brought our teams at HQ together to share their best dishes and celebrate everything we accomplished in 2025. We're grateful for our people, our culture, and the moments that made this year special. We're excited to carry this energy into 2026!
