Congratulations to Trivium Preparatory Academy students, Cole Lozon and Lindsey Bell, who both won the Stockholm Junior Water Prize at the Arizona Science and Engineering Fair regional competition. Cole placed 2nd in his division and Lindsey placed 3rd in her division. Way to go, Cole and Lindsey!

Joe Heiler graduated with honors from Veritas Prep in 2009, and then played basketball at Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina. He earned a bachelors degree in biology and a masters in biomedical informatics from Arizona State University. He's currently attending the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson, and has just been awarded a fellowship through the Sarnoff Cardiovascular Research Foundation.

🐝🐝 Congratulations to Archway Trivium East 5th grader, Srihaas Ghanta, who was first runner up in the 2019 Arizona State Spelling Bee! Way to go, Srihaas!! Srihaas has won the Great Hearts Spelling Bee two years in a row, and became the first Great Hearts student to advance to the State Spelling Bee. He will serve as an alternate for the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Congratulations to Arete Preparatory's Ms. Kienenberger for being selected by the AAPG Foundation as an Honorable Mention for the 2019 Teacher of the Year program! The American Association of Petroleum Geologists' (AAPG) Foundation’s National Earth Science Teacher of the Year Award program exists to recognize teachers who demonstrate outstanding leadership in the field of geoscience education. These are teachers who go beyond the textbook to incorporate applied geology into their lesson plans and bring students an appreciation of how one field of science touches their everyday life. Ms. Keinenberger's recognition comes with awards including two maps, an AAPG Tectonic Map of North America and an AAPG Geological Highway Map, for her classroom to enjoy!
