Valvoline Instant Oil Change supports cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute For the seventh consecutive year, 52 Valvoline Instant Oil Change℠ locations in New England will participate in A Chance for Kids & Families® program to raise money for the Jimmy Fund Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) customers in New England are helping fight cancer this fall by contributing $1 to the Jimmy Fund through their A Chance for Kids & Families® program. When you donate $1 at participating VIOC locations you’ll receive a promotion card with a guaranteed prize – everyone is a winner! “We are excited to partner with The Jimmy Fund again this year, especially given the challenges we all have been facing” said Don Smith, CEO of Henley Enterprises, Inc, the largest franchisee of Valvoline Instant Oil Change. “Dana-Farber has long been a pillar in our community; the research and their medical expertise are even more important than ever right now. It’s important to us to be able to support those fighting cancer during this pandemic.”
VALVOLINE INSTANT OIL CHANGE PARTNERS WITH AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY TO RAISE MONEY IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER During October, participating Valvoline Instant Oil Change SM (VIOC) locations will offer customers the opportunity to help raise much-needed dollars to support American Cancer Society (ACS) and its Road To Recovery program which helps transport cancer patients to potentially life-saving treatment appointments. For an even bigger impact, customers can download a coupon from ValvolineFightsCancer.com and for every coupon redeemed, VIOC will donate an additional five dollars to ACS. “DON’T PUT IT OFF!” Recent reports show that due to the pandemic, 46% fewer patients were diagnosed with cancer. This means many cancers won’t be discovered until they are in advanced stages when they are more difficult to treat. In support of ACS, VIOC wants to remind everyone that just like maintaining fluids in their vehicle prevents major repairs, getting recommended cancer screenings does the same for their body. The New England team is very excited to announce the promotion of Timson Babbitt to Area Manager! Tim will be a new Area Manager for Henley service centers in the Rhode Island area. Tim joined Henley in 2003 as an entry-level technician in our East Warwick location. He was promoted to Service Center Manager in 2006 in the Rhode Island market. He has spent more than the last decade in our Milford MA location driving that location to tremendous success. Tim's lead by example approach with customer service has built the Milford location to be the preferred oil change service provider in the area. A huge congrats and well wishes to Timson on a well-deserved promotion! Henley is lucky to have you!

Oilympics is a nationwide competition between all Valvoline Instant Oil Change service centers, and represents the best of the best in terms of oil change accuracy, customer service, and speed. Henley’s Oilympic team from our Pasadena location, led by Service Center Manager Tony Lien, along with Ella Guerra (Customer Service Advisor) and Alex Nguyen (bottom-side technician) can claim they are the best of the best! This competition embodies our 5 Core Values in executing the industries best “Quick, Easy and Trusted” oil change experience. Practice, practice and more practice with Area Manager Leo Hernandez, along with support from General Manager Cesar Trelles and fellow Area Manager Huy Hguyen and Franchise Trainer Lance Bowman , this team worked diligently to position themselves for this opportunity and seized the moment! Not only are they now the Valvoline Instant Oil Change Oilympic Champions, the team has earned a trip to be recognized at this year’s VIOC’s Annual Workshop to be held in Marco Island!
