Forbes recently released its annual 'America's Best Employers by State' list. Out of 86 Texas-based organizations in varying industries and categories, Forbes ranked Houston Methodist at #5 this year. Forbes releases a 'Best Employers by State' list annually. According to a recent survey from the Pew Research Center, only about half of U.S. workers report being "extremely" or "very satisfied" with their jobs. This list aims to provide workers who are "less than satisfied" with their employer – or people considering a career switch – with a comprehensive list of quality employers and better career options within their home state.
