Kleinfelder’s Northern California regional teams recently rallied together to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of Tuolumne County, a non-profit organization. Team members from the Concord, Oakland, Sacramento, San Jose, Santa Rosa, and Stockton offices traveled to Sonora, California to contribute to the development and improvement of affordable housing for people in need. Did you know? Kleinfelder has a major role in the replacement of San Diego International Airport's Terminal 1. Kleinfelder served as the landside development bridge designer and civil engineering lead, geotechnical engineer, and sustainability lead for this $3.4-billion alternative delivery project, which will construct a new terminal that includes 30 gates, 19 new restaurants, 250 EV charging stations, and 5,200 additional parking spaces — making traveling more convenient than ever before.
