Based on its recent survey, The Rehabilitation Hospital has been issued three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF International). Through the survey, CARF International offered zero recommendations for improvement, which is an accomplishment that is achieved on only 3% of CARF surveys. “This achievement is an indication of your organization’s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served,” says Brian J. Gulf Coast Medical Center Expansion Update Work on the Gulf Coast Medical Center expansion is moving forward as crews prepare to finish vertical construction. The facility's expansion will add three floors, 367,500 square feet to the existing 531,000-square-foot hospital, and 268 new inpatient beds bringing the total number of beds to 624. Construction is expected to be completed in 2021.
