Congratulations, Project SEARCH Graduates Back at the beginning of the school year, a group of interns joined our team at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. These interns embarked on a one-year transition from school-to-work program called Project SEARCH. On May 29, we hosted a graduation and celebrated the contributions, accomplishments and growth over the past year of Cristian Anthony, Angel Arroyo, Luisa Guiza, Matteo Ingegneri, Daniel Jaramillo, Zachary Losardo, Amina Mohamed, Kyle Rickis, Ethan Rodriguez and Ernesto Vasquez-Francisco. This group of students was the third class of interns to work with us at Lee Health, and we have enjoyed having the opportunity to help our Project SEARCH interns learn and develop their confidence. The primary objective of Project SEARCH is to help students with intellectual or developmental disabilities develop life and work skills appropriate for competitive employment.
