“No One Fights Alone! Can you imagine being diagnosed with cervical cancer at the age of 24? This loving and supporting family is there to help their daughter and sister in her battle with cancer but that hasn’t come without financial struggles. Tonight the Minnesota Gastroenterology team had the opportunity to interrupt this families movie night they have on the days Ashley receives her chemo treatments. The family was in shock as our team filled their living room with gifts. Their tears and emotion said it all as they each opened a gift; an iPad for Ashley to use during her chemo treatments, a family staycation at Great Wolf Lodge to spend time together, a professional family photography session since they haven’t had a family picture in over 10 years, a TV for the youngest sibling to have in his room and a No One Fights Alone necklace for the sisters. Above all, we were able to show this family the community is there to support them in their fight against cancer! Without a doubt…No One Fights Alone!! Thank you to all the employees and physicians of Minnesota Gastroenterology !
