Today, as DMM for Textiles, Joanne is focused on what’s next: leading others and helping them grow at Macy’s.

Jessy Waul joined Macy's, Inc. in 2015 simply looking for a job. Ten years later, she's found so much more. She began her journey with Macy’s, Inc. at Bloomingdale’s, starting as a Customer Service Frontline Agent and later supporting top clients in the Reserve role where she learned the power of connection, patience and excellence. With the support of incredible leaders, she proudly stepped into her current role as Macy’s Credit and Customer Service - Agent Onboarding and Training Admin in 2021. Inspired by the trainer who first believed in her back in 2015, Jessy's goal is to create that same lasting impact for every new hire who enters her classroom. She may have come for a job, but the people, the culture and the family keep her going.

Andrea Avigne joined Macy’s, Inc. in 2010 as a Designer for Intimate Apparel, and in just one year she had the opportunity to become the Designer for an active brand launch, Ideology. From the very beginning of her journey, Andrea’s career has been one of growth, creativity and endless learning. Upon becoming the Sr. Director of Intimates, Activewear and Center Core in 2022, Andrea’s experience has given her a platform to lean into leadership, continue learning about new products and evolve as a designer.

Cally’s Macy’s, Inc. journey began 23 years ago sparked by her love of shopping. She started on the sales floor, held an internship and joined the Executive Development Program before stepping into store leadership as a Sales Manager. Curious to explore more, she transitioned into Talent Acquisition where she also supported HR Generalist work—building a strong foundation for her next chapter. Today she brings her passion and experience to her role as Director, HR Business Partner a position she’s proudly held for the past seven years. Her journey is a reflection of curiosity, growth and the incredible possibilities that come from exploring new paths.

From Temp Selling Associate to Women’s Shoes to Principal, Organizational Effectiveness - Talent COE, Wendy's Macy’s, Inc. journey began as a summer job after high school. Talking about shoes and connecting with customers was a role that quickly sparked a lifelong passion. As she moved through different store positions and wrapped up college, she set her sights on HR, joining the Sales Executive Development Program and soon after launching her HR career as a recruiter. Over 28 positions later, now as a Principal of Organizational Effectiveness, she’s built a career path in HR grounded in growth, relationships, and saying yes to opportunity. Her story is a powerful reminder of how curiosity, connection, and a love for people can shape an incredible career path.
