The North Texas Commission presented Methodist Richardson President Ken Hutchenrider with the Community Leader of the Year Award for his contributions as the hospital's president and a Richardson City Council member. He's helped launch several community programs, including the Crisis Intervention Team — a collaboration with the Richardson Police Department — and multiple education partnerships that nurture the next generation of healthcare professionals. Ken was humbled and honored to receive the award. But we were not surprised. He's always been an awesome leader!

The event gave staff a chance to catch up with friends while learning about cool new initiatives and Wellness Program updates. Everybody got a Methodist Dallas T-shirt. All the stylish employees are wearing them on Fridays.
Employees at Methodist Richardson rolled up their sleeves to help our community with a blood drive. Hosted for Carter Blood Care, it was Methodist Richardson's most successful drive to date, with 34 pints donated! The event will make quite an impact, since one donation can save up to three lives. Extraordinary compassion runs through the veins of our employees!
Corny dog, anyone? In spite of the blazing heat, employees at Methodist Midlothian got a head start on Independence Day celebrations with food trucks, fun, and fellowship. That's the American spirit!
