We are delighted to announce our latest appointment to the senior leadership team, Gary Butters has joined as CCO and will lead Mobica's global sales and marketing strategy. With more than 30 years’ experience in software services sales, he brings a wealth of industry knowledge. Gary will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing customers, as Mobica seeks to provide its chip to cloud software engineering expertise across emerging areas of technology within automotive, silicon and connected devices.

One of the key requirements brought to attention by healthcare organisations across the world, is the availability, or lack of medical equipment. Whether its PPE or life-saving machinery, there have been many companies stepping in and changing their production processes to meet the crucial demand. Ventilators are essential devices needed for severe cases of Covid-19, but increasing production isn?t an overnight task. We?re proud to have Mobica engineers as part of the VentilAid project, developing and supporting the control panel for a straightforward device which can function in CPAP mode ? a device which enables the ventilation of the alveolus and stops them from collapsing. The VentilAid project, started in Poland, is a global initiative aimed at promoting solidarity in fighting against a pandemic and its effects globally by calling on the community to work together. Senior Software Engineer Marcin Smuklerz managed to transport the machine home once lockdown set in. Together with his own personal 3D printer and filament purchased by Mobica, he has been printing the necessary parts needed to help build face shields for hospitals.
