Molina Healthcare recently sponsored a panel event for national Make a Difference day with Claflin University's Minority Association of Pre-Med Students. David Irizarry, Community Engagement Specialist, shared some heartfelt career advice with the students: "Prepare yourself to lead a transformation that leaves a permanent impact for generations to come. Fall in love with whatever you do and approach it with passion from within and the rest will fall into place."
Molina Healthcare announced the kick-off of its second annual Molina HOPE coat drive in Michigan to help children and adults in need. During the nine-week drive, which began Monday, Molina and its partners will collect new coats at numerous drop-off sites across the state, with the goal of collecting 7,000 child and adult-sized coats prior to the conclusion of the drive on Monday, Nov. 27.

Did you know that Molina Healthcare has a presence in the U.S. Virgin Islands? Molina Medicaid Solutions recently donated 28 pairs of shoes to the Queen Louise Home for Children, and will be distributing over 170 more to local schools and organizations in the coming weeks!

The Molina Foundation is distributing more than 5,000 free new books to 10 nonprofit community action programs that serve low-income households all across the state of Maine. The Books Across Maine giveaway is part of the foundation’s Families Learning Together literacy campaign taking place over the next two months in select regions of the country.
