The “Americana Dreamers” serve the refugee, immigrant, and underserved population. They work to create a compassionate community for the unheard and forgotten without the intention of personal gain. An Americana Dreamer believes in human dignity and social justice; That every individual is worthy of respect and that they are whole and honorable beings, and because we live with our human dignity, we deserve equal opportunity, equity, and to be welcomed into community regardless of our background or differences. The Americana World Community Center provides programs for more than 5,000 people from over 100 countries each year – serving Louisville’s refugee, immigrant, and underserved populations.
