Happy 25 Years, Vicky! Vicky joined Life At VHS as a CNA for home health at Desert Springs back in September '96, and later worked on the orthopedic floor at that hospital. In '05, she transferred to Spring Valley as a unit coordinator on the surgical/orthopedic floor and has remained a dedicated employee ever since! Just over 10 years ago she became the Point of Care (POC) Testing Coordinator for the hospital and remembers being so proud to pass the very first POC inspection so many years ago. “I really live by the motto – if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life," she shares. We appreciate you, Vicky!
In 2014, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge took the internet by storm, and the Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center team was happy to partake! This trend not only cooled things off (especially here in Nevada) but also raised money for ALS research! 😃
