During a recent event at a Raleigh commercial property site where Sunstates provides services, attendees enjoyed outdoor festivities featuring a petting zoo, electronics recycling, and local treats. Site Supervisor Mildrena Ricks, known for her outstanding dedication and consistently being among the first to complete her monthly tasks, took a moment to join in the fun, sharing smiles and interacting with the animals, which the llama greatly appreciated. Mildrena’s active participation highlights her commitment to both operational excellence and positive client relationships. #Security #SecurityServices #SecurityTeam #SecurityOfficer #SecurityCompany #Raleigh #RaleighBusiness #NorthCarolina #NorthCarolinaBusiness
Way to go, San Antonio team! We're celebrating several individuals who received employee appreciation cards, with some exchanging theirs for Sunstates swag! We love highlighting our team's hard work and ensuring they feel valued. Officer Nicki Garcia chose a Sunstates lunchbox, earning her cards through keen attention to detail and a proactive approach that fosters a secure and welcoming environment for everyone. Officer Alfred Ubando received a Sunstates blanket, recognized for his many years as a valued and dependable team member. Other exceptional San Antonio team members receiving cards include Officer Cara Bautista, known for her consistent professionalism, warm greetings, and positive attitude, making a meaningful impression on everyone she encounters. Officer Marcos Ramos was awarded for his swift and effective response during a recent on-campus incident, where his quick thinking ensured emergency units were promptly escorted to the scene—an outstanding example of Sunstates' core values in action. Finally, Officer Sue Ann Marinez continues to exemplify excellence, consistently providing outstanding security services with professionalism and integrity, and setting herself apart through unwavering reliability and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for both residents and visitors.
At our Annual Leadership Conference, Supervisor Anita Graves of the Savannah region was honored for her heroic actions and quick thinking. During a routine patrol, she spotted a 4-year-old child about to walk into a busy downtown Savannah intersection. With impressive composure and swift thought, Anita safely secured the child in her patrol vehicle and, after contacting law enforcement, successfully reunited the child with her grateful mother. This incident powerfully highlights the importance of our NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) training. All Sunstates Security employees are required to complete this 45-minute course within 21 days of onboarding. It's an interactive and engaging program that covers how to identify situations indicating exploited children and how to prevent a child from going missing, ensuring our team members are attentive and prepared for such critical moments. This marks Anita’s second major accolade, having previously earned second Place for Officer of the Year. Anita’s enthusiasm and commitment to her team continue to set a high standard, and we are proud to celebrate her well-deserved recognition!
Kudos to Officer Maryse Dorsainvil of the Newark region! She's been recognized as the regional Officer of the Month after receiving a glowing shout-out from our client. The client stated, “I just wanted to reiterate my thanks and appreciation for Maryse’s support during the Newark Badge project a couple of weeks ago. Her efforts played a big part in the success and smooth execution of the project. Maryse’s ability to communicate with team members — often switching between four different languages! — made a huge impact on our ability to activate and verify badges quickly and effectively. She also did a great job explaining the purpose of the ID checks, which really helped ease any concerns from the team. I'm genuinely glad to have her as part of the team.” Outstanding work, Officer Dorsainvil! Thank you for your above and beyond service to both the client and our team.
