Meet Operations Manager Carlton Scott of the DC region. Sunstates promoted Carlton to a management role in 2022. With over ten years of contract security experience and excellent communication and leadership skills, Carlton will flourish as an Operations Manager. Carlton was a supervisor at the same site since 2018, first for a competing security company until Sunstates took over the account in 2021. He continued the role under Sunstates until his promotion to Operations Manager. His duties included performing site risk assessments, developing and implementing staff training, managing staff and more. Before that position, Carlton worked as a Special Police Officer for multiple companies maintaining access controls, conducting patrols, monitoring the CCTV, responding to medical emergencies and conducting equipment checks. Carlton spent four years in the US Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal. His knowledge in the security field and quick learning capabilities will be beneficial to his new role as an Operations Manager in the growing DC region.
Congratulations to Corporate Training Manager Kristine Correll on her five-year anniversary with Sunstates. She initially joined the company as an Operations Manager, and in 2019, she was promoted to Corporate Training Manager. Her primary responsibilities include creating and coordinating new training materials, presenting training sessions to officers and management, and developing customer-specific curriculum and Standard Operating Procedures. Senior VP of Operations Robert Rogalski visited the Sunstates team in Austin and San Antonio last month while they were experiencing inclement weather. Robb traveled to central Texas to support the team and recognize them for their excellent work. Joining Sunstates Security in 2022, Michael is a dedicated security and safety professional with 20+ years of law enforcement leadership experience. Beginning his career as a patrol officer for Lauderdale Police Department, he worked his way up through multiple positions of escalating complexity and responsibility and ultimately retired as Lieutenant of Criminal Investigations. He is a proven leader and provides expertise in personnel management, public safety, loss/asset protection, workplace safety, emergency management, threat response, policy creation, and program development. An existing customer started a new account in mid-January with Sunstates in Colorado. Senior VP of Operations Robert Rogalski met with the staff and viewed the facility. While there, Site Manager Nik Hens gave a tour and explained the process for moving their packages through the facility and onto the trucks.
