Kelsey Olsen, P.E. was featured in the Vertical Freedom documentary movie concerning the lives of six professionals working in the communication infrastructure industry. Kelsey heads up Tower Engineering Professionals Structural Engineering department located in Denver, CO. We are extremely proud of her and her achievements!
TEP was recently awarded a subcontract by LGS Innovations for the design, development and deployment of a Radio Frequency Interference Monitoring System (RFIMS) for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The RFIMS is to protect NOAA and other federal agency satellite earth stations from potentially harmful RF Interference that can be produced due to recently adopted frequency sharing requirements set forth by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). TEP will be the primary partner to LGS Innovations for site survey, civil engineering, structural engineering, environmental consulting, geotechnical engineering, new site builds & tower construction, electronics & antenna installations and field service maintenance. The stated Period of Performance for the RFIMS Program is 5 years with an initial value of $28M. It is envisioned that every division and department within TEP to include all regional offices will participate in the program to some degree.
