We can’t wait to get to work on another project in Cherokee County, GA! VHB was selected to provide Environmental, Traffic and Design Engineering Services for Cherokee County, building on the County’s Corridor Study that identified a need to both widen SR 140 to add capacity and improve hotspots like the intersection at Univeter Road. Our deep understanding of critical traffic and design projects across Georgia will be key in delivering a project that is not only cost-effective and functional, but minimizes impacts to the environment, adjacent properties, and utilities. #ImprovingMobility #TransportationInnovation

VHB is helping the University of Central Florida further a strategic, future-ready campus master plan focused on #sustainable and #resilient growth. One initiative the University prioritized is installation of reclaimed water, saving an estimated 30,000,000 gallons of potable water per year. This will significantly bring down costs and is a sustainable energy enhancement for the campus’s water supply. #EnhancingCommunities #Institutions

The Safe System approach is an initiative that all of us in the #transportation industry have a role in. This month, the Federal Highway Administration published the Primer on Safe System Approach for Pedestrians and Bicyclists and VHB was proud to partner. The primer will serve as the foundation for agencies across the country as they begin to transform their transportation networks. #NationalSafetyMonth #ProudPartner
A smart community recognizes that the needs and challenges of residents, businesses, and visitors are the primary focus for adoption of new technology and innovation. For the Town of Westborough, Massachusetts, that meant elevating voices from the community to help preserve and promote their historic New England town for future generations. The result is a Master Plan that considers change like transit-oriented development, attainable housing, a Climate Action Plan, and expansion of the Town’s beautiful trails. Read more about how VHB prioritizes people in the planning and development of Westborough’s Master Plan.
