We had another great company picnic! More than just a fun time away from the office, we love company events like our annual picnic, because they give us an opportunity to build personal relationships with each other, meet each other's families and help build our unique company culture.
We have an exciting development to announce! myHR Partner has been selected as a finalist in the 2018 When Work Works Awards, organized by The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The competition evaluates employers across the country on workplace flexibility and overall culture. It also honors organizations that have created effective work environments using evidence-based components that are linked with positive employee and employer outcomes.
We’re lucky to have team members like HR Manager Dana Huber, PHR, SHRM-CP, to share their insights about what working parents and family caregivers value in their organizations. She and her colleagues here at myHR Partner have helped us shape schedules in a way that keeps our team productive and happy. That translates to great service for our clients, even in the lazy hazy days of summer.

Employee Appreciation Day (March 2, 2018) is just around the corner, and we can’t wait for the annual “Big Reveal” about how we will be celebrating our amazing team. Last year we created a beautiful mosaic together that now hangs in our office. Past events have included a painting party, an afternoon at a spa, and of course food events.
