Low health insurance premiums, but very high deductibles. Company sponsored 401K match goes 1 to 1 most years which is good but choices are limited. Good optional life insurance. Dental and Vision are decent. bonus is ok, many years they go above 1 for multiplier but still it is lower than other industies.

The union was the best benefit

In late 2016, they added 5 days of vacation time for all US salaried employees with less than 4 weeks at the time of adding. 6% 401k Match is offered but not guaranteed unless the company hits profit targets. Same with profit sharing/performance bonus. Offered but not guaranteed unless profit targets are reached.

The benefits are decent. It really sucks that even after paying the premium, you still have to come out of pocket when you go to the doctor. $1300 before the insurance will pay anything. RIDICULOUS!

Both years I have contributed to 401K the company has matched. FREE money for retirement.
