Flexibility
Easy work
No job interview, rather a set of online test to evaluate competency

The best part of contract work with Appen is the flexibility of schedule and great pay.
The worst part of contract work with Appen is the unfortunate multiple login and confusing time reporting structure as I feel this could be made much more intuitive of a process with just a few changes and would be less time consuming for the contract worker.

Pros - Work at home, the pay, online training, and flexibility to work around my schedule.
Cons - If there is a problem and you have done everything you are supposed to do, they will tell you it is your fault and it isn't on them. You only get 1 paycheck a month. No benefits.

The best thing about being able to work from home with Appen Global is the flexibility that allows me to balance my home life with the need for income. The worst thing about working from home with Appen Global is that the time constraint on the work is just a little tight for me personally.

The ability to set my own work schedule and work off of my time. No commute to the office just wake up and go to work, no makeup needed.

I love working from home for Appen. The management team is very understanding of any leave you must take, and starting at 13.75 an hour is definitely not a bad wage for the work that you do. I just wish that I was able to work more hours. It would really influence the quality of work people can put out, as time wouldn't be so strained.

Even though you work from home, the communication on their side is appalling.
